VIC ICT FOR WOMEN - 2010 MENTORING PROGRAM

The 2009 Mentoring Program attraced lots of positive feedback from its 46 participants (an increase from the 24 participants in 2008).

Expressions of interest are now being sought for the 2010 program as a Mentor or Mentee (members only).

The Mentor role is open to non-members and males as well as females. Mentees can nominate to be mentored on either ICT or Leadership or a combination of both. If you have colleagues you believe could provide effective mentoring in either ICT and/or Leadership, please forward them this invitation.

Participation is free.

Mentors are typically women or men with extensive ICT and/or Leadership experience.

Mentees must be members of the Victorian ICT for Women Network.

Please register your interest below BEFORE 26 February 2010.

The Mentoring program will begin with an induction meeting at 5.00pm on Thursday 15 April 2010 at Level 1, 257 Collins Street, Melbourne, where Mentors and Mentees will be introduced to each other and will be briefed on the Mentoring Program process and events. The program runs from April 2010 to late November 2010.

It is designed to:
- build confidence and self esteem
- foster networking
- provide both formal and informal learning opportunities
- facilitate the professional development of women in ICT
