UBTP & BITS BREAKFAST - JUNE 2009

Our guest speaker for the June breakfast was Mr. Gordon Dunsford, General Manager, Systems, Technology and Operations, TransACT.

Gordon is responsible for core business and the strategic development of TransACT and Neighbourhood Cable (NCL) and the technology, systems operations, national telephony and wholesale groups as well as the TransACT and NCL network including delivery, maintenance and augmentation. He is also responsible for Business Systems at TransACT and NCL, including IT operations, applications and support and business information.

Prior to TransACT and NCL, he was Chief Information Officer for TransGrid, NSW High Voltage electricity transmission network provider, Head of Technology for Integral Energy and has held various other senior roles in Vodafone and Westpac, as well as worked extensively in a management consulting and advisory capacity to Government on major Reform Programs.
